How you can use Stereo Tool

As a standalone processor
You can run Stereo Tool like a hardware audio processor. Just set it up with a sound card input and output, or via AES67, and you’re ready to process live audio or stream directly with IceCast, ShoutCast, or MicroMPX. This is ideal for studios, streaming stations, or FM broadcasters.

Inside your playout software
If your playout or DAW software supports VST 2, VST 3, or DSP plugins, Stereo Tool can run directly inside your setup. The installer recognises many common playout programs, or you can manually install the plugin in the right folder.

With virtual audio routing
If you’re using software that doesn’t support plugins, you can still route audio into Stereo Tool using virtual sound card tools like VB Cable or Virtual Audio Cable. This lets you process everything from browser audio to DJ software, and output clean, enhanced sound through your real sound card.

Flexible licensing for every user
Stereo Tool has several licence options depending on your needs.

There’s a basic version that’s free for personal use, or professional tiers with features for FM, DAB+, and online streaming. Add-ons like Perfect Declipper, Advanced Dynamics, or The Bimp mic processor are also available if needed.
